We know that Spiritual truth goes beyond human comprehension. This truth is not a materialistic commodity that can be manipulated and distorted. Truth is not an evident form. It is a mysterious hidden light that cannot be found in outer forms. As an artist, I think that this inner light can be presented with metaphors which reflect an inner reality that can be more significant than anything we can perceive externally. When we speak of something being awakening, we are expressing a deeper truth like intimating the cosmic energy which is the basis of the entire universe.

Art is an authentic medium that explores the mindscape of the human mind. They present the human thought-space within the realm of a culture and tradition while blending physical experience and emotional abstraction, wildly expanding the ideas of the artist. The energy of the idea is very abstract, and it cannot become physically apparent until it meets a right space. The classic example of such an abstraction is the role of various forms and the multiple ways in which its logic becomes concretised within emotional and phycological institutions and the practices of everyday life.
Anupama P.G. is a brilliant artist based in Bengaluru. She opines that one of the toughest concepts in art is to create abstractions wherein the artist has to explore the canvas the blank canvas to create something. The process is to discover intelligent compositions that contain some recognisable forms and elements in them. They are compositions that are an attempt to visualise the spiritual and can be seen as carrying a moral dimension, standing for virtues like purity and simplicity.
Anupama profoundly invests her creativity in the whole process of art -making which is supported and enriched by an array of references from her observations, study and experiences of Nature. For Anupama, painting is her prime artistic activity regardless of the label, definition or classification. She stands as an image lover who inculcates her viewers with flash of colourful compositions, thin tree-forms and events around it. Her art leads to a vast visual vocabulary, free from any limitation, highlighting the scenery of hidden selected moments or forms.
Anupama’s work of art emphasizes on the expressive potential of colour, employing it arbitrarily, and not based on the natural appearance. Her, this approach enhances the artwork’s emotional power and just simply captures fleeting effects of colour, light or atmosphere of the painting. This displays the artist’s preference to reflect the desire to create an art that would appeal primarily to the viewers’ senses.
Anupama’s art process has a measuring wisdom that is derived from her insight into the radical importance of an intentional action in shaping her experience of pleasure and inspirations. Her act of creating Art, may appear unguided initially, but it later demonstrates tactical wisdom and strategic in fostering actions that are truly creative. Her final compositions have the ability to outwit short-sighted preferences and yield aesthetic pleasures that lasts.
