Prof. Chandrahas jalihal an extraordinary print maker, who settled in kalburgi has opened a studio in his house named “ànuchandra contemporary art studio “. Recently he has organised a graphic work shop in wood cut media in his studio. It was well directed by a veteran graphic artist prof. Vijay bagodi. It was a meaningful and Worthy workshop. The participants did art on m d f wood and has taken prints. The art works which were done in above said graphic workshop are being exhibited in “anuchandra contemporary art studio -gallery from 1-5-2025 to 10-5-2025.
All the works show sincere dedication, interest and the effort of the participants which was tried their level best to bring out good result. Prof. Vijay bagodi ‘ s fully dedicated coaching to each and every participant with great patience and sympothy made this graphic workshop very successful. Prof. Chandrahas jalihal ‘s mismarising experience in taking the best prints too became the hilight of this workshop.
Undoubtedly, this workshop became the major landmark in the visual art history of kalyana karnatka region and state also. This type of event can only prove the uniqueness and distinct quality of graphic art.
The partcipants in this exhibition are- ningappa keri, suryakant nandur, doulatrai desai, annaraya hangaragi, nayana baburao, kavita katte, kavya gaddi, chidananda sutar, monappa badiger, neelambika hiremath, guruling arali, s s murugol.
Clear depiction of shades and lights, difference between foreground and background, neat and minute carving and an excellent final prints are the distinguished qualities of these graphic works.
